Sexist Italia!

Aldo Zilli was discussing on The Wright Stuff last week how poor Italian television is and mentioned that at half past 7 it is common to see lots of programmes of women with their breasts out.  Basically soft-porn will be the norm at dinner time.  (So, no different from British TV then:  see below!!!).

I also often hear about how Italian men are quite happy to let their mothers, sisters, lovers, wives and daughters slave away in the kitchen and the home for them too without them ever being expected to lift a finger.

I think its fair then to make a judgement as to how Italian men view women and their place in society and once again, the medium that is television is working to reinforce women’s status in society;  that women exist to serve men.

Remind me never to go to this neanderthalic country.
